Surgical Oncology
Surgical Oncology is the branch of surgery which focuses on the surgical management of malignant disease, or cancer. Dr. Rashidi is exceptionally skilled and educated in oncologic surgery. His surgical oncology interest and specialization extend well beyond his fellowship in Research of Oncologic Surgery he conducted while at University of California San Diego, but to the realities of the medical successes his oncology patients experience every day. Dr. Rashidi is an active member of the American Association of Cancer Research, and is internationally recognized for his numerous publications and presentations on the treatment of cancer patients. Dr. Rashidi has spent numerous years on cancer research and publications, and is well-known for his development and establishment of Intraperitoneal Hyperthermic Chemotherapy in the Department of Surgery at University of Padua, Italy. He receives international patient referrals from other physicians because of his vast knowledge in surgical oncology, which allows him to approach even the most challenging cases successfully.
